McDowell Join us for the 150th Anniversary of Stonewall Jackson’s Valley Campaign
as Staunton Guided Tours offers a tour to Reenactment of the Battle of McDowell
on May 5 with Civil War writer Terry Shulman, as our guide. Pridgeon’s Legions
are the re-enactors. Beautiful mountain views, stop at the Confederate
Breastworks, see the Highland County Museum and Heritage Center. The tour leaves from Staunton Visitors
Center, 35 South New Street. Fee of $90 includes round trip transportation and
admission. Lunch is available on site. $50 nonrefundable deposit required. Call

battlefields and viewing the Living History program, You Are There, presented by the 10th Virginia, Rockingham Area
