Narrated Trolley Tour:  We take the Green Line Trolley (a comfortable 25 minute overview of Staunton aboard the city's trolley), while the guide describes the historic buildings and areas you passThe tour begins at 11 a.m. and 1:30 pm, Saturdays, April through October, (other times by apointment) and usually lasts about an hour. Adults $10, Youth, 13-17, $5, Children free with paying adult.  Military personnel free. Shared use of the trolley.

Add-on Walking Tour: We take the Green Line Trolley (see above).  Then we take a 10-block walking tour which includes Beverley  Street, Trinity Church, the Stuart House,  and the Courthouse (see Sites To See). This tour lasts from 90 to 120 minutes. Saturdays, April through October at 1:30. $15 per adult, $7 per youth 13-17, children free with paying adult, $30 minimum.  Military personnel free. Shared use of the trolley

 Step-On Guide:  We provide a guide for your motor coach, and an overview of Staunton, seeing many area sites ( see Sites To See ) This historic tour is 90 minutes to 2 hours. We will also provide an all-day guide to accompany you to the major sites if you wish.

 

Civil War Tour: Includes a synopsis of Stonewall Jackson's Valley Campaign and the rise and fall of Confederate fortunes in the Shenandoah Valley, which was a major theater of the Civil War; a trip to Madison Hall, Port Republic, The Coaling, the Lewis houses Lewiston and Lynnwood, Jackson's Prayer Tree, Bonny Doon and the Battle of the Piedmont. Terry Shulman, your tour guide, is a retired journalist and historical writer. He has written for Civil War Times Illustrated and many other national magazines, The Richmond TImes-Dispatch, and the Staunton News Leader's history section, which he wrote and edited for 11 years. He has been writing about and investigating area battlefields for over 20 years. About 3 hours. Your car, $90, Our car, $110.
 
Driving Tours of Staunton:

We drive your vehicle. We cover much of the same route but add on some sites not on the Green Line Trolley route, such as The Oaks and The Stuart House, and we can add sites of particular interest to you.  $60 
We can also drive our
van which can accomodate 4 to 5 people: $100 
Suggested length - Hour-and-a-half to two hours

Power Point Tour:

We have created a tour of Staunton using Power Point, photographs and drawings which can be shared with you or your group. Call or email for more information.
